BIOGRAPHIE

Tia Salisbury is a multi-award winning writer/director. Following a ten-year career as a broadcast animator, Tia has focussed on directing live-action promos, music videos and narrative short films. Commercial clients include Grazia, Tatler, Invada Records and Pieminister. Her music promos have premiered on Vice, Pitchfork and Q Magazine. Her narrative shorts have been shown at festivals worldwide including Encounters, Aesthetica, Loco, Underwire and The London Short Film Festival. In 2016, Tia wrote and directed horror/comedy 'Allhallowtide' which was screened internationally and selected for BAFTA affiliated festivals: Encounters, Cambridge Film Festival and ASFF. 'Allhallowtide' won a silver remi at WorldFest Houston and was nominated for the Mary Shelley Award at Other Worlds Austin and best screenplay at Bucharest Cinefest. In 2018, she wrote and directed ‘Crash Cam’, a single-shot drama, filmed on a car-mounted dash cam. The film won best low budget short and Carmarthen Film Festival and was officially selected at Underwire and London Short Film Festival.
