BIOGRAPHIE

Ngima Gelu Lama (b. 1993) is a cinematographer turned director. He started as cinematographer for short film Retro V in 2011 which won national short movie competition. His last feature film as cinematographer was Serdhak The Golden Hill which was premiered in Montreal World Film Festival 2015. His debut short film ‘Phulsiri’ which he wrote, edited, produced and directed won Best Children film award in Nepal and has been screened in film festivals across USA, India, S. Korea, New Zealand & Russia. He graduated with MA in Film Direction from Kino Eyes, The European Movie Masters program (2018-2020) for which he was awarded a full Erasmus plus scholarship in Lisbon, Edinburgh and Tallinn. His latest films include Adaptação (2020), his graduation short film and Last Days (2020), his first documentary film.
