BIOGRAPHIE

Bell ZHONG is an award-winning young director born and raised in Shanghai. His previous short BLOOMING NIGHT was selected into over 30 film festivals worldwide, including Shanghai International Film Festival, São Paulo International Short Film Festival, Outfest, and NewFest New York's LGBT Film Festival. Bell has also worked with some of the most high-caliber auteur directors in China such as DIAO Yi’nan and BI Gan, which he served as the First Assistant Director in THE WILD GOOSE LAKE and LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT. Bell earned his M.F.A degree at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He’s currently based in Shanghai writing and working on his first feature.
