BIOGRAPHIE

Stephanie is a British writer and actress from the South Coast. This is her solo directorial debut. She has a passion for making films that tackle social issues and previously she co-directed a short on Homelessness that was shown on local television. She trained at E15 Acting School and has played numerous roles on screen. Most notably Pamela in How to Talk to Girls at Parties (Studio Canal/Film4) which premiered at Cannes and stars Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, Ruth Wilson and Matt Lucas. She has also appeared in Down Dog – a British Comedy on Amazon Prime with Nick Moran and Tom Goodman Hill, BBC’s Casualty and Doctors. Stephanie won a Best Actress Award for her leading role in Groupie and most recently played Essex Girl Trish in Hypericum’s Dragonflies Only Live for 24 Hours which premiered at BAFTA and has just signed with a US distributer, now available on US Prime. Stephanie and Richard came together for this project. They have worked closely in the past, she has acted in five of his films and also assisted in casting on a number of projects, including Lovers Lookout, under Richard’s direction, which was selected for the BAFTA qualifying Foyle Film Festival.
