Amir Pousti

BIOGRAPHIE

Amir Pousti is a filmmaker, cameraman, Dotar Player, and one of the co-founders of 33 Projects (A multidisciplinary art company based in Tehran). He drops out of the Rasht Unversity in the field of Industrial design, in 2017. Also, in 2017 he won some awards from "European Film Festival Mainstream & Underground" in Moscow, “Calcutta Cult Film Festival” in India, and “Feel the Reel Festival” in England, and "Brussels Independent Film Festival (Chocolate award)" and "Sydney World Film Festival", in 2018 for making an experimental dance film called "Flatland" co-directed with “Alireza Keymanesh”. His last work is a short movie called “Transformation” that is going to be presented soon. Some of his artworks in different fields are: Acting in the last feature movie of “Ali Ahmadzadeh”, called “Ecosystem”, News Photographer at "Irna" newspaper for two years, filming the long movie called "Conversations” directed by "Reza Razm", Making visual works at the environmental exhibition called "The week of experimental arts" in 2015, One of the directors of performance art called "Orifice", performed at "Rooberoo mansion" in 2016, One of the directors of video art called "Flatland". He has been working on a documentary movie about the music of the north of Khorasan in Iran since 2014.
