BIOGRAPHIE

He graduated in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Pontevedra (2012/16), passing through Kingston University in London. His work on experimental animation has been included in exhibitions and film festivals internationally, like the case of the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival, the Exis Film Festival of Seul ,and the Istambul Experimental Film Festival among many others In 2015 his short film Historia Cerebro won the second prize Novos Valores de Artes Plásticas. In 2016 his second short film Rueda Cabeza won the Planeta GZ award at the Curtocircuito International Film Festival and was screened at the BAFICI (Buenos Aires Independent Film Festival). In 2018 his third work El Reloj won the award for best animated short film at the Cans Film Festival and was invited to participate in the Seville European Film Festival. In 2019 he continued to work on animation projects as well as painting and drawing thanks to an artistic residency at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome. He was also awarded the FormARTE grant for Plastic Arts and Photography to make his fifth animation piece (Insane Brothers) at the College d'Espagne in Paris. His latest short film Rumbo a Eleusis was produced thanks to the support of the Spanish Embassy in France within the Ventana project. He lives and works in Paris.
