BIOGRAPHIE

Matt is originally from Chicago. He was sent to the Far East at age 19 as a religious volunteer. There, he learned Russian. Later, he returned to Russia and was accepted to the Aleksandr Kott and Vladimir Kott Workshop at VGIK, where he graduated with honors in 2022. After graduation, Matt temporarily relocated to Ghana to film documentary and promotional content for various humanitarian organizations. He is currently filming a documentary, Liberia Camp, about Liberian refugees living in a camp in Ghana’s central region.
