Victoria Frings

BIOGRAPHIE

The Club marks Victoria Frings’ directorial debut. A storyteller from a young age, she didn’t realize directing was a path that was available to her, so she followed her role models into acting. While appearing On and Off Broadway and at renowned regional theatres, she developed a strong point of view, and began writing and producing for stage and small screen. Her original cabaret, Marie Marie Marlene, looks at how we cultivate stories about ourselves through the life and legend of Marlene Dietrich. Her web series, After Ever After, explores Disney’s damaging romantic paradigms. And her first feature, Away, co-written with Joe Pickard (pre-production), follows a liberal, earth-conscious couple into the woods and pits them against nature and, ultimately, each other. Victoria is also the star of a Broadway-bound musical, Clicquot, about the ceiling-shattering founder of Veuve Clicquot champagne.
