BIOGRAPHIE

Although trained in architecture, when the opportunity arose two years ago to work alongside Taika Waititi on his television series What We Do In The Shadows, Ningran Chen moved to Toronto to join their talented art department to design the elaborate set of the show's fantastical world, before returning to Montreal to begin her directorial debut on Precious Cargo. The series received ten Emmy nominations in 2020, including Outstanding Production Design For a Narrative Program.
