BIOGRAPHIE

After completing her B.A. in Naval Architecture and Marine Sciences at Istanbul Technical University, she started the M.A. program in Cinema and Television at Kadir Has University and Documentary Photography training at Galata Photography Studio. She directed a feature documentary, Her First, about the challenges faced by women filmmakers in Turkey, a short movie, Plastic Dream, about the pressure/effects of beauty industry on women and a short documentary, Karin, about an Armenian disabled woman swimmer for Minority Rights Group based in London, UK. Her movies were selected by many national & international film festivals and won several awards. She is an alumni of Sarajevo Talents 2022. She has participated many workshops such as Birds’ Eyes View’s Filmonomics: Reclaim the Frame X International programme and Netflix's SheShoots Programme. She is working as a director & producer & writer.
