BIOGRAPHIE

Toronto-based filmmaker Gillian Gordon is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s film school who earned her stripes working on a variety of productions including Guillermo del Toro’s "The Shape of Water" and Sofia Coppola’s "Priscilla". Gillian first had success as a director when her student film “A Human Fable” - a comedy about how life is clearly not a fairy tale - was an official selection at the Montreal World Film Festival. She now makes her long-awaited return to the director's chair with “Driving Lesson”, a very personal story that is, again, about the dark comedy that is life.
