BIOGRAPHIE

Graduado en cine y licenciado en historia. Uno de sus primeros trabajos, el cortometraje “La basarda” (2010), fue seleccionada en el Festival Internacional de Cine de València en la sección “Cinema Jove”. Escribe y dirige “Un balcó d’Abril” (2012), cortometraje de ficción que se pasea por la Barcelona de la República, la guerra civil y la dictadura franquista a través de los ojos de un niño. En 2018 vuelve a la dirección con “La herencia de Martí”, cortometraje de ficción escrito por Marc Pascual sobre la conflictiva relación entre dos mujeres con un fuerte trasfondo metafórico. Recientemente ha escrito y dirigido “La tardor de la història” (2020) cortometraje de ficción que ha tenido la participación de Enric Majó y Àlex Casanovas. El corto serà el primer capítulo de un largometraje independiente, de caràcter episódico, sobre la posguerra en los Países Catalanes. Le interesa un cine donde la historia y la cultura catalanas tengan un papel central y que, a su vez, cuenten con un explícito compromiso con los valores humanistas y republicanos. Ambiciona realizar un cine independiente de contexto histórico catalán, que acerque el pasado a un público heterogéneo, intentando romper fronteras culturales. --- Graduated in cinematography and in history. One of his first works, short film "La Basarda" (2010), was selected at the Valencia International Film Festival in the "Cinema Jove" section. Writes and directs "Un Balcó d'Abril" (2012), fiction short film that walks through the Barcelona of the Republic, civil war and Franco dictatorship through the eyes of a child. In 2018 he returns to the direction with "La herencia de Martí", fiction short film written by Marc Pascual about the conflictive relationship between two women with a strong metaphoric background. He has recently written and directed "La tardor de la història" (2020) a fiction short film that has had the participation of Enric Majó and Àlex Casanovas. The short film will be the first chapter of an independent feature film, in episodic way, about the post civil war period in the Catalan Countries. He is interested in a cinema where catalan history and culture play a central role and which have an explicit commitment to humanist and republican values. It aims to create an independent cinema with a catalan historical context, which brings the past closer to a heterogeneous audience, trying to break cultural boundaries.
