BIOGRAPHIE

Katie is a poet, filmmaker, a cross-arts facilitator and a Classics graduate. Her work aims to look more closely at the experiences of women and queer people. She was recently appointed Production Officer at the Film & Video Umbrella. Katie has worked across Assistant Director and Production roles on shorts, artist films and music videos, including projects with BBC Arts, Jerwood Arts and BFI Network. In 2020 she produced Guy Oliver’s artist film 'You Know Nothing Of My Work' for the Jerwood/FVU Awards. She was awarded first place in the 2020 Oxford Brookes International Poetry Prize. Poetry commissions and performances include Durham Castle, the Barbican Centre and the UK Houses of Parliament.
