BIOGRAPHIE

Born in Taipei, Yang Rong is a director and writer, now he is a graduate student in the Department of Motion Picture, National Taiwan University of Arts. His works include feature films, documentaries, and experimental films that explore issues related to gender and Taiwanese indigenous peoples. Yang’s 2016 production, Keep My Love, was awarded Most Inspirational Production in the Cross-strait Youth Micro Film category of the 8th Cross-strait Film Festival; nominated in the 6th Macau International Movie Festival and 2nd Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Micro Film Festival; and awarded in the NTNU Cup held by the Micro Movie Association.
