BIOGRAPHIE

Christopher Marianetti is a composer, producer and educator from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He co-founded Found Sound Nation, a production company and nonprofit working at the intersection of music and social justice, and is a director of OneBeat, a music diplomacy program bringing together musicians from around the world, now in its ninth year in partnership with the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Chris’ work has been featured at TED, the Lucerne Festival, the International Symposium on Electronic Art, MASS MoCa; he received a MacDowell Colony Fellowship, a PopTech Social Innovation Fellows Award and the Albuquerque Academy Alumni Service Award. Chris studied composition in Milan at the Accademia Internazionale in Italy, received an M.M. in composition from Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music, and a B.A. from Macalester College.
