Enrique Pedrós

BIOGRAPHIE

Enrique Gimeno Pedrós studied drama at the Royal School of Drama of Madrid (RESAD) and at London's International Drama School of Theatre and Performance Rose Bruford College. In these two schools, he also trained as a playwriter. He has written "Natación", a play that was pre-selected for the fellowship program of the dramaturgical creation laboratory " En blanco "of the Cuarta Pared theater, and” La bola negra", selected at Surge Madrid theater festival in 2018. Enrique has also worked on audiovisual projects as an actor and director. His short film, "Según Mateo" was unveiled at Los Angeles OutFest and other film festivals around the world. In 2017, it was awarded the Special Mention of the Jury for best international short film at LesGaiCineMad Festival in Madrid. He collaborated as an actor with director Claudia Pinto in her upcoming film “Las Consecuencias" (2021), selected at the Cannes Film Market. Claudia is the director of "La distancia más larga", film nominated for Best Ibero-American film at the 2015 Goya Awards. He is currently working on the pre-production of his first feature film “Era una fiesta”, written and co-directed with Osama Chami.
