Born in Jinhua, China on August 24, 1997, Tianhui Huang lived in Hong Kong between 2015 and 2019, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2019, she moved to Los Angeles to continue her study in Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Southern California. In 2020, she directed Where is the Virus, a short documentary, during quarantine and Zoom/Reverse, an experimental remix short exploring the impact of visual media upon the sensible world. Abdullah is her first fiction short.
