Grew up as an LGBTQI+ bi-racial (East Indian / American) break dancer / poet / installation artist. Pretty much the same human only now fused it all with cameras and lights tied together via my direction, editing & storytelling. Wrote / directed / edited the feature film "SPORK" that won the Tribeca Audience Award, HBO Award, Shortlisted for the Sutherland Trophy via BFI Film Festival and held #1 in it's category on Netflix for months while closing & opening numerous festivals around the world. Latest experimental film "The (ART) oF BE(i)NG" premiered in Sundance then Outfest, screened in the MOCA, Sweden, etc. It took me over 5 years to make the film and was a mountain of work but finally was able to get it's message to the masses. I've directed/edited over 16 music videos, multiple short docs and am currently finishing up my next art film while hoping to get this animated short in front of as many minds/hearts as possible. Week days I teach an art-therapy class I created called #ThaExpressionists (hashtag will show you my projects on Insta) to High School kids in South Central. It's been 4 years now and inspires me to see these cats grow in such tuff environments. I'm a cliche, to himself quiet type artist who creates most of my art in my own small studio with a makeshift sound stage and grinds pretty much 95% of my life towards it. But it fills my heart with joy & to be able to share whatever I'm fortunate enough to create is the gift of all gifts. So PICK ME! lol playin. I mean, I'm not but like... just being silly. Warmth to whoever is reading this. And may the stars guide my inner-process to do what's good and rad so the result brings me to your festival and together we share some conscious-expanding cinema.
