BIOGRAPHIE

Born in 1967, he graduated as a graphic artist at the Academy of Visual Arts, Cluj in 1993. After postgraduate studies, at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (1993-1995), at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Marseille (1996), at the Kunsthochschule, Berlin (1999-2000) and at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK), Antwerp (2001-2003) he completed his doctorate in media art at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Budapest in 2009. He was a DAAD scholarship holder in Berlin in 1999/2000, the winner of the Projections on Lake Competition, Pasadena, USA in 2008. His solo exhibitions include: Photographies, CAPC Musée d’art Contemporain, Bordeaux, France (2001), Reprojections, Galerie 52, Berlin, Germany (2001), Photographies, Centre Odyssud, Blagnac, France (2001), Empire in Different Colours, Ludwig Museum, Budapest (2004), Air Parade and Fire Works, Pixel Gallery, Budapest (2010). Collections and archives holding his works include: CAPC Museum of Contemporary Art, Bordeaux, Hungarian National Gallery, Ludwig, Museum, Budapest, E-Flux Video Rental, New York, Tank.tv archive, London, Freewaves Video Archive, Los Angeles.
