Born in 1967, he graduated as a graphic artist at the Academy of Visual Arts, Cluj in 1993. After postgraduate studies, at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (1993-1995), at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Marseille (1996), at the Kunsthochschule, Berlin (1999-2000) and at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK), Antwerp (2001-2003) he completed his doctorate in media art at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Budapest in 2009. He was a DAAD scholarship holder in Berlin in 1999/2000, the winner of the Projections on Lake Competition, Pasadena, USA in 2008.
