Gwendolyn Infusino

BIOGRAPHIE

Gwendolyn Infusino is an award-winning writer, director, producer, curator and educator with an MFA in Film Production: Writing/Directing from UCLA. Her MFA thesis film “Endless Video” - shot on S16mm film and magnetic tape - is an official selection of Palm Springs International ShortFest 2021, and recently screened the Chicago Underground and Annapolis Film Festivals. In 2020, she participated in the IFC Project Forum as a producer for Laci Dent’s feature film THE GIRL, and worked in-house at The Gnomon Workshop to produce the latest professional training for leading VFX, games and animation studios worldwide. Gwendolyn recently managed the production of Eleanor Coppola’s upcoming feature LOVE IS LOVE IS LOVE, was a shooter on Francis Ford Coppola’s live cinema project “Distant Vision”, and taught Film and Television Directing at UCLA. Her background includes more than fifteen years of creative and producing work in prominent contemporary art and film organizations, including experience in museum curating, as well as marketing, advertising and writing in technology. In 2010, Gwen curated the Italics Film Series, the first narrative film series ever exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, where she also worked in curatorial to produce more than ten major exhibitions, including Jeff Koons, 2008 and Jenny Holzer: Protect, Protect, 2009. She has been awarded the Edie and Lew Wasserman Film Production Fellowship, the Antonio David Blanco Fellowship, the Motion Picture Association of America Award and the Terina Spyropoulou Memorial Award. In addition to her UCLA MFA, she holds a BA in English and Art History from DePaul University, where she graduated from the Honors Program and studied abroad with Louvre curators in Paris. Originally from Chicago, Gwen is based in LA.
