BIOGRAPHIE

Miroslav graduated in 2013 with a BFA in Acting, under the mentorship of Prof. Irfan Mensur at the Academy of Arts in Niš. He continued his studies at Belgrade Faculty of Dramatic Arts and obtained MFA in Film and TV Directing in 2015, working with Prof. Stefan Arsenijević. During the past 5 years, he has been working as an independent filmmaker and teaching film at the Columbus College of Art & Design (United States). He wrote and directed several awarded short movies (Waiting for Bordeaux (10min; 2013); A Trip to the Sea (32min; 2014); To Kuyumba (22min; 2016)), and numerous music, promotional and commercial videos. His movies tell stories about ordinary people and their everyday problems while picturing universal questions of friendship, growing up, and showing love.
