Allan Ibanez

BIOGRAPHIE

Dexter Hemedez and Allan Ibanez are Filipino writers, directors and producers based in Los Angeles. Their debut feature "First Semester" won major awards in various international film festivals. The film was also screened at the American Film Institute. It is currently distributed through the giant streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. The duo also created a short animated film entitled "Happiness Isn't Cancelled" to deliver an important and timely message to families and kids around the world who are coping up with the ongoing pandemic. Before branching out to filmmaking, Dexter and Allan were television scriptwriters for various daily series at ABS-CBN Network, the largest broadcasting corporation in the Philippines.
