BIOGRAPHIE

I have sent for your consideration my first work as documentary filmmaker. Inspired by Qatsi Trilogy (Koyaanisqatsi, 1982), the film DIES IRAE shows my point of view of our actual world, where we live in the new normal with so much social tension that we are always thinking about the very near future. Nevertheless, we would have to leave an open door to our more recent past, looking back and checking our unsustainable development to understand what is really happening today. The new normal is the absence of normality so all the alarms should be sounding in our Globalized World, always so fearful of the wrath of God. During last 20 years, I have been working as environmental engineer in several international companies around Africa and Southeast-Asia making water projects (drinking water treatment plants, desalination, sewage, etc.). In 2017, I decided to change my way of life doing something more creative than technical and after finished my cinema studies at PompeuFabra University of Barcelona, I have made this creative documentary short film “DIES IRAE – Day of wrath” between London and Madrid City.
