Maíra Flores

BIOGRAPHIE

Maíra Flores (Brazil, 1990), is a filmmaker and artist. She co-directed Untitled (5), with Luciano, and worked as art director and actress in “Princesa Morta do Jacuí”, short film made in 16mm by Marcela Bordin, selected in festivals as Viennale, Festival do Rio, Filmadrid e Indielisboa. She worked as a costume designer for “Tinta Bruta”, winner of the Teddy Awards at the Berlinale and Best Film at the Rio Festival. Maíra's artistic work has been shown at Maat (Portugal), BienalSur, Museo Castillo de Mata (Spain), Proyector (Madrid), Ecarta Foundation, Museum of Image and Sound and Capitólio Cinematheque (BR), among others. Her work moves through objects, installation and video.
