Júlia Barata was born in 1981, in Coimbra, Portugal. Works as an architect and comic writer. Published the books “Gravidez” (2017), “Quotidiano de Luxo” (2019), “2 Historias de Amor” (2019). In 2018 starts drawing animation short movies, with “Arsène Schrawen” (Kamandi, 2019), “Charango Interestelar” (Soy Colibri, 2020), “Which racismo do you come from?” (Chicks on Comics, 2020), among others. “Tindergraf”(2021) is her first half-length feature. Teaches Graphic Proyect, Experimental Comic, and Motion Graphic narrative in Buenos Aires.
