Fernando Tato is an actor, director, screenwriter and musician. Graduated in Art History at the University of Santiago de Compostela and in Dramatic Art at ESAD in Galicia, completing his acting training at the Lorena García de las Bayonas studio in Madrid. Fernando combines his acting career (Pulsaciones, Lobos e Cordeiros, O Faro, Hotel Almirante ...) with the creative direction of the Kraken Films collective, where he is in charge of project development, essentially focusing on script and directing tasks. He has written and directed the short films Fracturas, El Jefe, Uganda and Alicia, award-winning short films at festivals such as the Zaragoza Film Festival or Curtas Armandiña, finalists in the Mestre Mateo Awards and part of the Official Sections of many national and international festivals. In addition, as a screenwriter, he wrote the feature films El fin de la verdad (recently awarded with the Daniel Scrip Award for the best script) and Querer estar ahí.
