With a French-Japanese heritage, my work explores absence and the legacy of trauma. Blending documentary research and fiction, I examine how collective memory resonates within intimate experience. This film was inspired by a trip to Fukushima with my uncle, who lived in the devastated zone after 2011. I am drawn to a kind of cinema that reveals invisible tragedies and brings buried fears to the surface, those that quietly inhabit our lives. Previous films: KIRA (17 min, 2021, photogrammetry).
