BIOGRAPHIE

Liu graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures in NCHU. He has directed numerous one-act plays with concepts from classical literature and modern plays. Liu’s TV series “Inevitable Affairs” has won the Special Jury Prize and LINE TV Award in “Wild Grass”, which is the biggest drama proposal competition in Taiwan. The show is now in its pre-production stage. “A Mukbang to Remember” is Liu’s directorial debut short film. It is inspired by the notorious East Asian “fake-eating” events, exploring the ambiguous boundaries between real and virtual worlds.
