BIOGRAPHIE

Eugene Kolb is a Ukrainian-American filmmaker based in New York City. His work experiments with mixed-media storytelling, often blurring the line between animation and live-action filmmaking techniques. His first short film, A Subway Story (2016), premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was featured on Short of the Week before garnering a Vimeo Staff Pick. His second short film, Fridge (2019), screened at the Ottawa International Animation Festival and Rooftop Film Festival, was awarded the Audience Award at the Brooklyn Film Festival and received a Vimeo Staff Pick.
