Ívar Erik Yeoman

BIOGRAPHIE

Ívar Erik Yeoman is a director of fiction and documentaries from Iceland, where he graduated in philosophy before becoming a filmmaker. He studied as a director in FAMU (Prague) and Kino Eyes (Lisbon, Edinburgh and Tallinn). In between, Ívar worked in the film industry in Iceland, most notably for the local director Hlynur Pálmason, of which he also made a documentary about the making of his 2019 feature "A White, White Day", which premiered at Cannes’s Critics Week 2019. Ívar's documentary is named "Scenes from a Process", first screened at Skjaldborg Documentary Film Festival in 2020. In 2021, Ívar Yeoman completed two short fiction films in Estonia which are currently in distribution, "Days Without" and "Uibu Talu."
