BIOGRAPHIE

Ana Lourdes Herrera Torres was born in Cárdenas, Cuba in April 1986. Since she was little she felt identified with art. During his childhood, he dabbled in dance, theater and music. Little by little he discovered his great passion: communicating. She studied Choral Direction at the EIA René Fraga Moreno and later graduated as a Bachelor of Social Communication at the Camilo Cienfuegos University in Matanzas. He also has 2 master's degrees: Music as an Interdisciplinary Art at the University of Barcelona and Film and TV Direction at the TAI University in Madrid, Spain. His career has developed between 2 great worlds that coexist and at the same time complement each other: music and audiovisual production. Through word, image and sound, he seeks to reach the other, make him reflect, laugh, cry, move his sensitivity. For more than 12 years she served as director of the musical theater group Sin Palabras in Cuba with which she obtained several recognitions and awards, the most important being the Premio Nacional Escaramujo. He currently has 10 years of experience in the media. She has worked as: Multimedia Journalist, News Anchor, TV Director and Audiovisual Director. He had the opportunity to work on the television channel TeleBandera in Cuba and on Eurolatina TV in Spain. Among his awards stands out the First Place in the VII Festival of Television TV Yumurí with the program De mi Ciudad. La Dominica. She is the director of the short films: La Calandraca, En la aldea and Adiós a Cuba Ana Lourdes Herrera Torres nació en Cárdenas, Cuba en abril de 1986. Desde pequeña se sintió identificada con el arte. Durante su niñez incursionó en la danza, el teatro y la música. Poco a poco fue descubriendo su gran pasión: comunicar. Estudió Dirección Coral en la EIA René Fraga Moreno y posteriormente se graduó como Licenciada en Comunicación Social en la Universidad Camilo Cienfuegos de Matanzas. Cuenta además con 2 másteres: Música como Arte Interdisciplinario en la Universidad de Barcelona y Dirección de Cine y TV en la Universidad TAI en Madrid, España. Su carrera se ha desarrollado entre 2 grandes mundos que coexisten y a la vez se complementan: la música y la realización audiovisual. Mediante la palabra, la imagen y el sonido, busca llegar al otro, hacerlo reflexionar, reír, llorar, mover su sensibilidad. Por más de 12 años fungió como directora de la agrupación de teatro musical Sin Palabras en Cuba con la cual obtuvo varios reconocimientos y premios, el más importante: Premio Nacional Escaramujo. Actualmente cuenta con 10 años de experiencia en los medios. Se ha desempeñado como: Presentadora, Periodista, Directora de TV y Realizadora Audiovisual. Tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar en el canal de televisión TeleBandera en Cuba y en Eurolatina TV en España. Entre sus premios resalta el Primer Lugar en el VII Festival de Televisión TV Yumurí con el programa De mi Ciudad. La Dominica. Es la directora de los cortometrajes: La Calandraca, En la aldea y Adiós a Cuba.
