Masoumeh Bayat

BIOGRAPHIE

Masoumeh Bayat was born on August 23, 1970, in Tehran. She spends most of her time studying Iranian and foreign literary works from her adolescence. She also became interested in journalism through her acquaintance with Oriana Fallaci's books and reports and began working in the press. Then, at Allameh Tabatabai University, she began studying Communication Sciences (journalism) and Persian literature at the Azad University. At the same time, she continued to prepare social reports and interviews and notes in nationwide newspapers. She also published film, theater, and book reviews in the cultural and cinematic press. In 2001, she published the literary and artistic magazine of “Parvin”, which wrote stories, poems, and humorous articles both in “Parvin” and in other publications. Her son, Bamdad Nematollah, is a young TV and cinema actor. Thyroid is Masoumeh Bayat's first directing experience.
