BIOGRAPHIE

Luigi Piana (Biella, 1993) graduated from A. Avogadro Scientific High School in Biella in 2012, then he started study physiotherapy at the University of Genoa. At the end of that experience, he decided to pursue the path of cinema, his true passion. He took part in both Italian and International courses related to film directing and screenwriting. It is during his stay at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2018, that he started writing the first draft of “Tripudio”, the short movie that represents his first work as director. In February 2019, the shooting of the film began among the valleys of Biella, his hometown, located in northern Italy. Since November 2021, he have been working at the screenplay of what will be his first feature movie.
