Sofia Erzini

BIOGRAPHIE

Sofia Erzini (1994 Faro, PT), Is a multidisciplinary artist that lives and works in Brussels. Her academic background starts in the faculty of Fine arts in Lisbon in Product Design. She arrives in Brussels in 2018 to learn the practice of artificial eye making and continues her studies in animation film at ERG, École de Recherche Graphique de Bruxelles, and finally graduates as a Master's student in animation film at KASK, Gent. Her work revolves around crafts, from woodworking to a variety of other materials. Stopmotion is the basis of most of her audiovisual work. Also passionate about numerical arts and mixing many different ways of animating like 3D and AI with the traditional.
