Julian Hamman

BIOGRAPHIE

Julian Hamman is an independent filmmaker, screenwriter + video artist based in Sydney, Australia. In 2020, his psychological short film CODA was a finalist at the New York Flash Film Festival and chosen for the official selection at the Sydney Lift-Off Film Festival. In 2021, his short OH! HOLLY was chosen for the official selection at the Pennsylvania SLOP Film Festival, where he was asked to be on their Q&A panel. Within his practice, he hopes to juxtapose elements of naturalism and surrealism to highlight the strangely poetic lives that his everyday characters lead.
