Neringa Naujokaite

BIOGRAPHIE

Neringa Naujokaitė (*1966 in Kaunas, Lithuania) graduated from the Vilnius Art Academy and Kunstakademie Dusseldorf, in 2003 she completed her postgraduate studies in audio-visual media at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM). She has had solo exhibitions in Germany and Switzerland, and has participated in group exhibitions in Finland, Sweden, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic and China. Naujokaite's work has won numerous awards, including the Award of the International Foundation of Women Artists „Die Höge“, the Ida Gerhardi Prize, the Fine Art Award of the Land Capital Dusseldorf and the Bremen Video Art Award. The artist lives and creates in Germany.
