BIOGRAPHIE

Valentina Pelayo Atilano (Mexico City, 1992) moved to California aged nine. She is a multidisciplinary artist who completed her undergraduate at the California Institute of the Arts (2016). Additionally, she holds two MA degrees, one in Cultural Theory and Criticism from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and the other in filmmaking studies from Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (2021). “Streams of Silence” (2022) is her first short film. She is currently based in Mexico City.
