Director Trëndelina Halili grew up in Prishtina, Kosovo. Trëndelina has a bachelor degree in Mass Communication and Journalism as well as later in Film and Television Directing. The film "Prishtinë, 2002" is her directorial debut which she directed immediately after she graduated from film school. Trëndelina worked as a video editor on a television and then she continued to work as a video journalist, producing multimedia stories and documentaries with focus on human rights topics, a work she still continues to do. In 2018, Trëndelina co-founded the film house Kandërr in Prishtina in which contributes as a producer and director with a focus on short and feature films, documentaries as well as video campaigns.
