BIOGRAPHIE

Italian video maker and photographer, in love with semiotics, she lives in Brussels since 2008, where she studied photography, (Academie d'Etterbeek, 2018) and videography (Ecole de Photographie et de Techniques Visuelles Agnès Varda, Bruexelles, 2022). Fond of analogue photography and alternative printing process (i.g. cyanotype, bromoil) she is a member of PictoBenelux and Photographes Anonymes. She regularly takes part in photo exhibitions and video projects, also in the perspective of helping promote the works of other artists with whom she shares values. Women life and values trasmission is at the center of her reflections: “As an Italian coming from a traditional family, I struggled at several moments to build up my own path, often not matching my family expectations and society's “suggestions”. The role of wife and mum are sometimes taking away women's lives, and I am telling the audience what I would like to scream at my parents: - to women “it’s never too late”; - to men “stop thinking that the world revolves around you”.
