BIOGRAPHIE

Director Jang Su Young was born in 1972 and grew up in Seoul most of the time. From an early age, she loved cinema and studied sociology in college. After graduating from university, she studied at the Munich National Television and Film School as an auditor and started her film career in 2000 as an assistant director for the movie <Waikiki Brothers>. In 2009, she produced her first feature film, Seri and Harr, a film about the dreams and friendships of girls from multicultural families. She has been working on film screenplays and teaching film production since then.
