BIOGRAPHIE

Born in Sirajganj of Bangladesh. His film journey started at Bangladesh Short Film Forum as a film activist. Since 2003 he has been working as Cinematographer in film and Television. Through this journey, he came to sense a feeling to pursue his own way of storytelling. His debut short film ‘The Smell’ got National Film Award-2016 and participated in around 20 international film festivals like the 19th Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia-17, Japan, and 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth-2017, Iran. ‘The Smell’ also received Best Short Film Director Award in Smr13 Film Festival-2017, France, and the Best Short Film award in 6th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival-2016 in India.
