BIOGRAPHIE

João Papa is a 35 year old director from São Paulo, Brazil. He started working as a film critic at 14 on AOL Brazil and moved to Folha de São Paulo, the largest newspaper in Brazil, at age 16. After a few years as a production assistant and assistant director, he moved on to working as a director in advertising at 21. His commercials received global awards and accolades, including a Lion in Cannes and the AD&D award. As a music video director, João Papa got almost a billion views on Youtube, over 9 videos with Brazilian pop star Anitta. Mort Diplomatique is João Papa's first film.
