Graduated from the first class of the School of Communication at the Santa Maria University (COSSMA). In 2005 Alfredo makes his entrance in cinema with his first fiction short film YBI-173. The movie got major recognition in Venezuela winning several awards as well as Best Latin American Short Film in Spain at the TVE Spanish Version competition.The international success of his first short film allowed him to shoot another fiction short in Spain ENAMORATE (Fall in Love), and got a Special Jury Mention at the Brussels International Film Festival. In 2007 he started directing one of the two 45-minute short films that make up the movie BLOQUES (Blocks), produced by the Villa del Cine.He wins in 2008 TNT’s reality show PROJECT 48 and films his latest short QUEDATE (Stay), which was televised for all of Latin America. In 2013 he wrote with his brother the highest grossing film in the history of Venezuelan cinema, PAPITA MANÍ TOSTÓN.In 2015, his debut feature Package #3 premiered, acclaimed by Venezuelan critics. He worked in the creative department of NBC TELEMUNDO until Sony Pictures hired him in 2019 to direct his first TV series, the romantic comedy MANUAL PARA GALANES. In 2020 he directs the Dramedy series LA SUERTE DE LOLI for NBC TELEMUNDO. Currently in 2021 he returns to Telemundo directing LA MUJER DE MI VIDA and writes his third feature film “THE GRAND PREMIERE” while post-producing his second feature film VUELVE A LA VIDA.
