BIOGRAPHIE

Trained by Kevin Jerome Everson and Béla Tarr, Josh is a filmmaker who explores how the political meditates the personal while conjuring a transcendent viewing experience for audiences. He produced 'Black Enough', which participated in the Tribeca Festivals 2020 NOW Creators Market, and is producing 'Preserves' by Micah Ariel Watson, which took part in the 2021 Gotham Project Market. He is focused on supporting international auteurs, particularly in regions with capital and political obstacles. He wants to create new industry systems where we can sustain and nurture artists globally as well as ambitiously push the form of cinema into new discoveries. He started producing in tandem with his political goals – to support the Rainbow Coalition, building an inclusive society and spreading empowerment.
