BIOGRAPHIE

Jeremiah Dickey has been creating fine animation since 1997, working both independently and in cahoots with numerous studios. His work has screened at dozens of festivals around the world, including Annecy, SXSW, Chicago Children’s Film Festival and others. Jeremiah was a founding Animation Director at TED-Ed, an online educational initiative of the TED Conferences, from its inception in 2012 through 2021. In that time he directed, designed and animated over 40 short films on subjects from ancient mythology to cutting-edge science, and much in between. Past work includes frequent collaboration with filmmaker Emily Hubley on animation created for many award-winning documentaries and films, including Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001) and The Toe Tactic (2007).
