Rima Alhamedd

BIOGRAPHIE

Rima Alhamedd is a Syrian artist and architect who holds a master's degree in Sustainable Urban Planning and is based in Stockholm. She has also participated in several film project development and production training courses, as well as studied fine art and photography in Sweden. Rima worked as a director for the film "On the Edge of Life - 2017" which was screened at the official competition of the Cinema du Reel festival and won the award for Best First Film. After that, she worked as an editor for the film "I Have Seen Nothing, I Have Seen All - 2019". Currently, she works as an art advisor for the film "Chasing the Dazzling Light - 2022" and is also working on a short animated film titled "Goodbye Lapis Lazuli”.
