BIOGRAPHIE

Although it is already vulgar and old-fashioned to talk about oneself in the first person, although it may be more appropriate in virtual and distant environments like this one to step away from myself to list achievements, merits, and credentials half made up and obscure; I will risk myself to confess you that my work is faith. Without that faith, I wouldn't do anything at all. I wouldn't arm myself with shots, words, desires, the film, the text, and all the languages after the birth of silence to cut time and space, starving for the absolute. Because it is in this faith in art, as an opening, as transcendence, and syncopation of the real and the dream, that I always find myself. I only exist while this moment lasts in the scene, in the paragraph, in the line, and in the form where the self dissolves to find the womb of the Atlantic where I come from, where I was born, regurgitating Brazil and fire in the trance of wanting to meet you and say it once again that beauty and only beauty will save the world.
