Camilo Fidel Lopez is an independent filmmaker and producer born in Bogotá in 1981. Although he graduated from Law School, since 2009 he founded and artistic collective named Vertigo Graffiti. Since that moment he started creating audiovisual pieces connected to the creation and making of murals and street art festivals. In 2019, he had the chance to create his first documentary short film named "Goya, La Niña del mercado" (Goya, the girl from the market.) After that he wrote and directed four more short films, connected to the street life in Getsemani, a popular neighborhood in Cartagena. All of them were launched in the Cartagena Film Festival (FiCCI) in 2021. In 2023 he wrote and directed his first fictional short film "El Peluche" which is expected to be launched at the end of the same year.
