BIOGRAPHIE

Born 1983 in Prague. After two years of study in Directing department at the Prague's film academy (FAMU) he was chosen by Béla Tarr among another 15 filmmakers from all around the world to his unique film program called film.factory in Bosnia, Sarajevo. With Béla Tarr as a mentor he made a short film called Eleanor, which was subsequently screened at Berlinale IFF 2015, where mr. Tarr introduced the program. Another important screening took place at the Sarajevo Film Festival same year. In film.factory he also met and worked intensively on a workshop basis with film-makers or theorists such as Tilda Swinton, Gus Van Sant, Carlos Reygadas, Jonathan Rosenbaum, Jean-Michel Frodon, Guy Maddin, Brothers Quay, and many others. Nowadays he's finishing new short films and preparing his feature debut.
