Ilinca Hărnuț is a Romanian performer, script writer and multimedia artist. She has a BA in acting from the I. L. Caragiale National University for Theatre and Film and is currently getting her PHD from the National University of Arts. As an actor, doing both theatre and film, she has collaborated with Radu Jude, Cristian Nemescu, Josef Demian, Sarra Tsorakidis, Michal Docekal, Petrică Ionescu, Alexandra Penciuc, Elena Morar, etc. She was nominated at the Romanian Gopo Awards for the “Best Newcomer Award” for her part in the film “Scarred Hearts”, dir. Radu Jude, 2016 and was granted the UCIN price for Best Actress in 2022 for her parts in “Nightwatch”, dir. Josef Demian and “Love Stories on the Move”, dir Carina Oșoveanu. She has produced and performed several multimedia performances, she directed the experimental shorts “Harvey”, 2021 and “Karina” 2023. She co-wrote the feature “Inkwash”, alongside Sarra Tsorakidis, which is currently in production.
